Tal Thread

Mikhail Tal, in 1959, beat Bobby Fischer 4 times in chess matches. Arguably one of the most successful players against Fischer. Is anyone else a chess fan here?

At one time I ran a chess club with some friends and often find similarities in chess and music. I find the cretivity in the game to be very in the moment like music.

A number of years ago the World Chess Championship was held in Salt Lake City. It was a fascinating event to watch.

The best ranked player I ever beat was 2035. It was great to win in an environment where there was not a soul that though I could win.

How you been, Russ?

Not like you to be hanging out here in the low-rent district...

I have been good. Low rent, chess is a fine game. I do find it funny that the name "Tal" attracts the attention it does here. may have used the name just to see the attention a chess thread gets. I hope you're well James.
