Talkbass Apps?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know of any Talkbass Apps for iPhone? I found a good Craigslist app for viewing post and thought it would be great to view talkbass the same way.

This is probably the wrong forum, but this one gets the most traffic.

Thanks -Bill

I don't have an iPhone, but maybe you could subscribe to the RSS feed?

That would be great. I like surfing TB on my iphone. The only problem is the drop down boxes don't work and you can't search.

I would like one for Blackberry. I can sort of look at TB on my BB but it is very slow and clunky.

The only issue I run into with TB on my Berry is that it won't let me directly reply to PMs. I can send them just fine, but for whatever reason, I can't reply to one that someone has already sent.

I'm thinking I can do everything needed on my iTouch. Someone up their said that the search boxes wouldn't drop down but mine do. I haven't tried PMing someone yet from it tho, so maybe that's the one thing.

I wish. Mine takes forever to navigate. Literally 5 minutes to sign in and get to a forum and get a page open. Then god help me if I want to go to another thread.

I'm sure that it wouldn't be very hard to make an app for TB, right?

A possible way to go about it would be sort of like the FML ap. It's like a feed from http://www.fmylife.com/, but interactive of course. So obviously a TB app would be much more than a feed, I would think, but it could work in a similar nature perhaps?
Just a thought...

Edit: After checking the site, the app is pretty much identical to the site, just set up in a way where it's easier to use? So maybe an app could be made for TB, or perhaps a mobile browsing version? I'm sure that's fairly difficult to set up, but it is a thought.

Many sites that use this forum software have a smartphone specific format. It wouldn't be hard at all. The powers that be have decided it's not worth doing, apparently.

Yeah, I wish there was a streamlined mobile version. I hate waiting for all the bb stuff to download. I do surf TB on my iPhone all the time too though.
