I know I'm not the only one here who enjoys reading, right? So let's talk. What are you reading? What authors do you like? Genres/styles/time periods/etc
I'm on a binge with the classic stuff. Since this past summer, I've been reading lots of Charles Dickens, E.A. Poe, Melville, that kind of stuff, mid-19th century fiction. Don't know why I got into it in the first place, but it started with Dickens' "Great Expectations", and I just finished "David Copperfield".
I just began reading "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym". It was the only full-length novel written by Edgar Allan Poe, and I'm a HUGE fan of his shorts and poetry, so I think it will be a good read.
When I'm not indulging in those legendary classic authors, I enjoy Chuck Palahniuk (most of the time), Carl Hiaasen, Hunter S. Thompson, I went through my Dan Brown phase (I'm not sure if I want to read his newest Langdon novel, thinking about it), a little Kurt Vonnegut, and I like some of Stephen King's older stories.
