Yup. Haven't slept a wink all night so far. Meant to be getting up at 6:40 to go in for 8 and work a 12 hour shift and it's 4:20 right now.
Still wide awake.
Getting hungry.
Getting a headache from lack of sleep (been up 20 hours now)
I hate insomnia...
Wonder if I should call in sick or attempt the shift on caffine and chocolate...

I might have to have a party with the toaster in a minute. Grrrr.
Can anyone suggest whether I should call in sick or not? Only been on this job 2 months and I'm trying to make an impression. Already took a day off a while back for "head ache/migrain" :/
Really not sure what to do, and 6am is fast approaching!
kthx, talkbass!

I think I noticed something today.
Decided to try going completely caffine free today in hope that it'd help me fall off to sleep at a decent time.
Didn't work...yet I was tired at work ALL day. Perhaps... since I didn't do enough caffine during the day so I didn't wear myself out enough to sleep when I got home (since I was yawning and relaxing all day at work since I was so tired).
That and I take mild sleeping pills and I'm out of them tonight.
Sitting at home is actually the last thing I want to do...but not looking forward to the hour train ride to work. Might mention it to my shift lead and try to man it out... See how I feel in an hour or so

It's a drag!
