Predictions for the weekend? I'm in an optimistic place at the moment.

I predict another night of Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor, Merlin and I'm A Celebrity and a fourth consecutive avoidance of MOTD.

Martin Jol, Berbatov, Dempsey, Dembele.

Too many former club cliches to throw around, but in the end it's just two per side so it evens out. Draw.

Prediction, we'll go down two nil, drag it back, and score a winner at 88 mins, then allow them clean attack space for the last 6 including et.

I'm looking, but I can't see a 'vomiting' smiley off to the side of the screen...

That isn't the slightest bit disturbing at all.

http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/lists...rs-vol-13.html

I think Frank Worthington was born looking like this.

Bit of trivia...Terry Darracot was the first Everton player I ever met and got an autograph from. Looking just like he did here.

Getting in early today cos I'm out on a mad day... Titus, all the best to your lads today, looking for your result first after the Gunners today and hope they give you and us a good day...

Mad day? Gospel group I play for asked to do a charity thing doing Christmas carols etc at an event to support special Olympics Ireland - a load of nutcases, mostly Gardai (our police) god bless 'em get sponsored to go to a well known spot on Dublin bay and jump in-its about effinfreezin' degrees out there so fair play to them - thought I had weaseled out of it as I said no way were the my precious babies getting exposed to salt water, spray, rain, cold etc - "no problem, understand that," they said," isn't it lucky your a good singer-join the tenors" - so I'm off to freeze me wotsits off to the sound of ding dong bleedin' merrily- still, be warmer than the Gardai!
Have a good day lads!
Bah humbug!

Crikey. Chelski in freefall. 2 points from 9. Can't wait to hear Rafa's post match conference. How long until Abramovich gives him the boot? Shame you US guys don't get the Saturday evening football phone-ins....comedy gold.

Congrats to Swansea and West Ham, good effort by Everton.

Shame Liverpool won to spoil things.

Laudrup slowly but surely turning his Swnasea side into a team emulating his own playing style. Good on 'em.

Oops. Swansea.

Wouldn't surprise me if Abramovich comes knocking at some point

Good away win for Wolves...big Mick gets a good win for Ipswich...

Yep, good point for us at Maine Road or whatever the hell that place is called these days. Not many will come away with a point. Just makes all those other draws all the more frustrating.

Gooner mate of mine at the Emirates today was in the boozer after the game...boos like that not heard since the days of Stewart Houston.

No, I think it's because I decided to captain him this week. Word is he had actually wanted to get treatment rather than a sub, so it might not be THAT bad. Who knows.

As for Benitez, we might be seeing the redefining of "interim" manager out of this. lol

edit: Just got home and turned on the United game. What in the what?

FA Cup third round draw tomorrow. Lets hope it throws up some mouthwatering ties that remind us why it is the best cup competition in the world

Interestingly, MK Dons play Wimbledon tomorrow, but we'll have to wait until next year for FC United v Man United.

In other news, what's this about some US footballer going bat$h1t crazy with a gun ???
