I like how all the gooners (not just in here) are coming out to bash Bale for this, and fair enough rightfully so because I don't agree with his attitude either, but when Cazorla did it, general attitude seemed "a win is a win". lol
I don't defend any flopping around. In my opinion if you're diving and flopping put your skirt back on and get off the men's field...regardless of whose team it benefits. Refs need to stop catering as well.

True enough.
To me keano, the bad part is he doesn't have to. He is strong, fast and has a great shot.

At least LFC can take 3 points from the Little Sisters of the Poor. They have Sunderland coming up and then a bunch of top clubs. It will be interesting to see what this team really is. I'm cautiously optimistic - this team has swung from looking like making a run to the top of the table to sliding into a the relegation zone.

Regarding diving - I used to think almost everything was a dive when I first started watching the top European clubs, but now I have more appreciation for how fast these guys play and how hard the hitting is in and near the box - now I am amazed that they don't pull more guys off on stretchers.

That said, even Suarez got a penalty call a couple games ago so it is possible that Bale et al may get a call but it will need to be pretty blatant - the benefit of the doubt will be with the defender once you have that repulation.

Yeah, that's really the most frustrating thing of all. He is incredibly athletic. If the likes of Defoe and Walcott can shrug off defenders at their build, I'm sure Bale can do better.

Honestly, I'd rather have kept him as #3 keeper over Gomes. Yes, Gomes is still alive. I guess Carlo will reunited with the Unidentified Fan at LA.

Reiving. I blame this man. Can anyone remember such prolific going-down-like-you've-been-shot antics in the English game before his arrival at Spurs a few years after this clip?

I like the retrorockets in his shoulders that gave him a secondary dive - even the Bulgarian judge would have to give a 10 on that one. One of the more creative dives ever.

Ronaldo needs a new schtick - the hands to the face is pretty much a dead giveaway for a dive and if I was the ref, unless there was blood coming from a guys mouth or nose, I'd give a red for diving each time I saw the hands over the face.

From what I've seen of La Liga, Ronaldo seems to have cut much of the histrionics from his game.

Ronaldo was a shocker in his first couple of seasons in the EPL. He did tone it down eventually. The sad thing is that it's usually the most gifted players who are the worst offenders.

Two clean sheets in a row - I'm so confused right now. But not complaining.

Another class showing from RvP, and Chicha shows he's nothing to be sniffed at equalling RvPs 2 goals & 1 assist, love it.

Yeah, yeah, rub it in why don't you. If only he'd stayed at Arsenal.

I wouldn't do that kind of thing.

Not that subtly, anyway...
