I do have a lot of respect for Lampard, though I can't say that for many of his team mates. I guess it depends on whether he's prepared to be more of a bit part player than a regular starter. While he wouldn't make my starting list for Chelsea, he's still a very useful player. I hope they treat him with respect - out of all the Chelsea players, it would be fitting if he finished his career at CFC.

These trolls get everywhere.

Anyway...

I know what form would suggest this weekend but I never take games against the lower teams for granted.

I checked it out - very tempted. Pricey though, especially with a gold and black cover.

Anyway just to chip in...Saurez, what more can be said -pure bilge.
Bill, hope Saunders (or Mr Springsteen as we have always called him) can do something for your lads - at least hope they let him alone for a while and give him some support to do something.

In the spirit of Mr Klose admitting a grievous wrong...I have to admit that I have also sinned...sh*tload of Thomann vouchers and I bought......a Strat....sorry lads, will go to confession this weekend......
Deano's inauguration tonight. v. Blackburn. Fingers crossed as this will be a very tough game, I think.

Enjoy the Strat! I got myself one a couple of months ago after a 40 year wait. I hope that won't be seen as an impulse buy.

Be watching your boys hopefully successful start with him.

I'll not lie, got one of them skinny string thingies too, even worse at it than I am with the big 'uns.

Speaking of skinny string thingies...I recently bought a G&L S-500. Personally prefer it to a Strat, but then again, I generally prefer G&Ls to their Fender cousins.

Coloccini wants out of Newcastle this month, that's one in the bits for the "wee club".

Good luck Bill, give them a doing! (Never forgave them for taking D*ouf -the El Hadj version of course)

Think we might need to form a support group here lads, Skinny Strings Anonymous, help our shier cousins come out of the closet...enjoy the Strat Bill...I think the vintage of my wait to get one is probably at least the same as yours!

Now must go back to the tracking service website, just one more time to see how the parcel is doing, just once more, honest, I can give it up any time I like.......

True enough, sometimes you can almost smell an upset. I'm not a gambler, but I reckon I could have made a few dollars this season. Sometimes you can almost see the stench of defeat on teams (yeah, I know that doesn't make much sense, unless you're on LSD).

You are welcome to contribute, but that's not how we do things in here.

This is one of the most enjoyable and civil threads on TB, and we'd like to keep it that way.

I notice the Wolves game is on telly. I'll give it a watch.

What the heck are the Vengy's doing at Blackburn? That club is in a proper mess.

Yup, tough times yet again at Blackburn. I can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors. Has anyone seen "The Four Year Plan"? T'is a documentary about QPR. Holy Jaysus, frightening stuff it is too.

That's a shame for Wolves, to go go one down to a dodgy peno, never mind that Blackburn lad should have been off.

A Saturday to forget. Back to the old battering-teams-into-submission-but-only-managing-a-draw tactic. Although to be fair, I like Laudrup and what he's done with Swansea.

DS and SVT...I'm hoping Liverpool get a good tonking tomorrow.

Oh, and to keep this little theme going...

I'm positive I had that Barry Cowdrill one. It's a name you don't forget as a primary school kid, just like Bumstead or Spackman.
