Rooney tries to turn away from him, and has his leg taken out, no touch of the ball by Caulker(though I'm sure that's what he was attempting), how is that anything but a penalty?

But this is Chris Foy we're talking about. It was awful officiating all around, though at least he wasn't biased about his general crappiness.
All in all, we weren't overrun like I feared we would be, though these repeated relapses from Walker is worrying. |

| | | | Sounds like a good job mate, congrats.
In football news, Wesley Sneijder officially a Galatasaray player, something seems very wrong about that. Least the Liverpool deal failed.

| | | | It should also be noted that footballers pay half the tax in Turkey than they would in other countries. EDIT: Rumours say 100k per week.

I hope the unrest amongst Saints fans spills on to the pitch and gets to the team. We just need to be ruthless.
Get in. Get on. Get out. | I'm not gonna simmer down anytime soon, I'm on a pure red hot boil.
The Sturridge-Suarez combo is coming together pretty quickly, Garrard is on form (PS. I love that expression and will start to find places to use here in other sports). The schedule is full of above table teams or those close with City, Arsenal, Swansea, West Brom , Spurs over the next two months.
Saw a bit of the Man U game - I thought it was a foul on Rooney for what it is worth. Also, does the keeper always play that well. There were some outstanding saves otherwise that could have been 3-1 Spurs or more.
I always enjoy good play from Americans no matter what team they are on, needless to say, with Dempsey's play lately, I am even more disappointed Liverpool wasn't able to put together the deal for him.

| | | | Re: the keeper, De Gea is a world class shot stopper, but has weaknesses in commanding his box, and decision making, all of which was seen in the Spurs game, though it was more the defenders that were at fault for the Spurs goal.
Supposedly both Barca and Real are very interested in him, but I couldn't see him going to Real being ex Atletico.

It looked bloody freezing too! Always feel sorry for keepers on nights like that, especially those internationals used to warmer climes!
Didn't the Arsenal boy Reyes play for both Madrid sides?
Now Celtic and Rangers....there's a divide few dare cross! I remember Mo Johnstone was one of them - and he somehow made it out of Glasgow intact to join us. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
