It's truly incredible too see, especially when you realize that Bradfords entire squad doesn't break 10k in value(7.5k but mostly free transfers, IIRC), would it even pay a Villa player for one day?
In other football news, apparently United will be finalizing a 15m deal for Zaha from Palace tomorrow.

Bad news for my home city. | A once great club really on the ropes could apply to either side. I remember Bradford in the Premiership. Congratulations to them tonight. I can only hope they destroy Chelsea in the final.

Always liked Bradford because of Peter Beagrie and Stuart McCall. However, I fear a tonking will be in order at Wembley should Chelsea play them. I am hoping Laudrups boys can hold out tonight.
What a great final that would be. Proper game, proper teams.
Bill - your soft spot for Villa surprises me. I had no idea that inter-Midland rivalries were so cuddly |

I'm actually a Brummie by birth and go there now more than I ever have before, both for gigging and work reasons. I've spent more time in the square mile or so near to the house where I was born in the last 12 months than I did in 1963-2012. Weird feeling, tbh.
Strictly speaking, I should be a Bluenose, as St Andrews is easily the nearest ground to my birthplace, by several miles. But I still can't take Blues seriously as a club whereas Villa are the real deal - founder members of the league (like WWFC and WBA) and all that.

I notice Coventry are absent from discussions regarding Midlands teams? I can't help but picture Mick Quinn when I think of that kit! |

Reason no. 2 to be glad we didn't sign him. Reason no. 1 is the fact that some commentators almost turn his name into Eddie Izzard.
