I've been saying for a while that we should be going for(typed that as fro the first time, Freudian slip?) him, as he's exactly what's missing from our team. Versatility, muscle, height in the box. I guarantee we wouldn't be having to scrape wins every dang week(twice in CL/Cup weeks), were he in our midfield willing balls and breaking up attacks.
Our easily exploitable weakness to crosses, corners and set pieces would near evaporate.

I doubt Mikel has a smile like that on his chops this morning...much of the press making the most of his penalty miss, but didn't he give away the pen that Berbatov slotted? |

| | | | I'm still in slight shock that Arsenal didn't go in for Berbs, he would have worked so well for them.

If he stays in England, the only team I'd rather he ended up at is United.
Marouane Fellaini. Harder than an end-of-level boss. |

Whilst not a fan of the international team, I'm pleased he's earned a call up, even if it is only for a friendly. What with Jags and Bainsey looking like regulars, this harks back to the days of the '86 England team, with a midfield of Peter Reid, Paul Bracewell and Trevor Steven, and Gary Lineker up front. |

Marouane Fellaini. Harder than an end-of-level boss. | 30m....... My word! If that's true, we have no chance.
I'm surprised it took so long for Osman, true shame, I mean, I'd say something if England had an incredible midfield keeping him pushed out, but they don't.

What a Sunday. Tottenham vs. City and the Chelsea vs. L'pool on my TV. I haven't figured out how to root for all four teams to lose.

He got the ball knicked, then pretty much had to foul. Not Mikel's best day. Still one of my favorite players though. |

He was my - and many others - favourite player for quite some time. You won't find many blues begrudging him his chance to play at a more successful club...oh, wait, hang on a minute |

don't you just love it when they show you that you've brought them up the right way?

| | | | Very similar to Vidic's injury last season, gonna be a while without him.
Cech to captain for the foreseeable, but then, he's actually a much better captain.

I'd be depressed about this (taking the rags with grain of salt of course), as he's the only thing to feel good about Tottenham these days. lol | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
