every time somebody initiates a thread in OT about grades and test scores, it seems that the overwhelming majority of the teen population (and adults who can remember how they did) are enrolled in honors classes, get top grades, achieve very high relative standardized test scores, and are quite intelligent in general.
Is the talkbass population smarter than your average human?

the SAT 1 is, to an extent. It focuses mainly on reasoning and analysis skills.

If its the kind of subject where all you need to do is to memorize theory, then it really isn't a measure of intelligence while something like a physics exams, where you have to concentrate and solve problems would be a much much better measure of intelligence. It still wouldn't be a good measure since someone could be good in physics and be a total ****** in languages, but still better than exams about memorizing stuff.

Also the word "******" is offensive. Not to me personally, but on a community as large as this, you probably don't want that up lest someone is bothered by it.
