Truths that I've found to be relevant to the big game of life. YMMV.

A great deal of women are controlled by their emotions.

A great deal of men have one track minds.

Those who can't be satisfied don't truly know what they desire.

The best things in life are probably illegal, dangerous, and/or quite expensive.

Common sense is something that must be gained.

Ignorance is bliss.

Love those who love you back.

If you truly love something, you'll let it go.

It's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.

Some things are just not worth the time and effort.

Nobody likes a politician.

Never settle for less then you deserve.

The path less taken is usually quite bumpy and rough.

Perfection is found in and through making mistakes.

Everyone has their limits. Some refuse to realize it.

The world will not, should not, and cannot bend to your every whim.

You'll always be an idiot to someone else.

Nice guys finish last.

Admitting you're wrong is always harder then pretending you're right.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Revenge is a dish best served up cold.

Being self-destructive never helped anyone.

If you're going to smack yourself in the face with a hammer, keep in mind it helps to know when to stop.

There's always a bigger fish.

We learned more from a 3 minute record than we ever learned in school.

Every day is a gift. That's why we refer to it as the present.

If you ever find you've made a fool of yourself, find happiness in knowing that some have made a career out of the same act.

Happiness is tea at just the right temperature for drinking.

Never compromise. Never settle for less then you're worth.

You're worth more then you give yourself credit for.

Aim for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land in the stars.

Rome wasn't built in a day. But in that time, you can still make a delicious sandwich and take a nice vacation.

People used what they called a telephone because they hated being close together and they were scared of being alone.

Waiting for luck to come to you is like trying to squeeze orange juice out of lemons; it isn't impossible per-se, but there are better ways to use your time.

Being successful involves a great amount of effort. As long as you enjoy the path you create towards success, you'll never perceive the time as "effort".

Eat more fruits. They're tasty, and good for you.

You are what you eat, and you are who you choose to surround yourself with.

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, and you can certainly pick your friends nose. However, this doesn't necessarily mean they will enjoy it.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, at one point and time in their life, will need to be bashed over the head with a large blunt object. You need to be the change in the world that ensures this happens at the appropriate time.

Food tastes best when stolen. Anyone who wishes to argue this clearly has a sense of morals, and thus will never taste food at it's top flavor potential.

Anybody who wishes to never again see their hometown again has clearly not adventured enough.

Excess of anything tarnishes the beauty of beautiful experiences.

Learning to truly let go is, without a doubt, the most painful and devastating lesson I've ever learned. It's also allowed the most beautiful and wonderful moments I've ever experienced.

Revenge is a double edged sword. Sometimes though, the joy just simply outweighs the pain.

Turn your regrets into a learning experience in which to better yourself.

Learn to spell. There is no spell-check in real life.

Never stop self-improvement. Even though there may always be a bigger fish, it's nothing a bigger boat can't handle.

Speak softly and carry a big stick.

If you have to ask yourself, "Why?", respond with, "Why not?"

Sometimes you dip the cookie, sometimes the cookie dips you.

Food, friends, and duct tape can solve virtually any problem.

Learn something new every day.

Everything is backwards in Soviet Russia. I hear beer drinks you, car drives you, and TV watches you. Scary stuff.

Violence might not be the right answer, but it doesn't change the fact that it still exists as an answer.

Doing the right thing sometimes demands an act of piracy.

The best answer is hardly ever the one you want to hear, let alone pursue.

If when you die, you can count five good friends, you've had a wonderful life.

Dream dreams as if you live forever, and live your life as if you die tomorrow.

Keep your old love letters; throw away your old bank statements.

And in memory of my Grandfather(bless his soul),

Son, do you know what's better then a fresh cantaloupe?
-No Grandpa. What?
...Two fresh cantaloupe.
