For months now I've had this vision of turning my cab stack into a TARDIS.
Right now I'm building a two cab GK Neo 212-II stack. (I only have one at the moment.) People do tend to paint the silver grills of these new GK cabs. But I'd have to paint mine navy blue and get pretty artistic in the suggestion of panels and windows.
What seems more likely is to get some speaker grille cloth in navy blue and paint that. Then I could make an "amp cozy" to put over the whole stack like a big blue sock. I could put the amp head on top (small MB500) and a blue light.
The easy part would be the blue light on top. Such things are easily available for DJs on Amazon.com and other sources.
Thoughts?

Then you'll be all old-school and glue jelly bellies to your strap....it'll be anarchy.
On a related side note, I once referred to my junk as a Dalek, and proclaimed "exsperminate" as I chased my then would-be Wife around the room...is that wrong?

Great idea by the way. Better than washing machines... |

But I'd like to. Once I get the second cab, I'll get in touch with some custom cover shops and see who's willing to work with me on it and who's got the brightest ideas.
Think I'd get a new nickname out of it? You can't possibly play all night in front of a stack like that and be called anything other than "The Doctor."
I already have the screwdriver.... |

And the Doctor is cool, everyone knows that. If you have a pedalboard, you'd need to put a dog tail on it and call it K-9.
