Taste Buds no longer work

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been fighting flu-like symptoms the past few days. This particular bug knocked out my taste buds. I've never had this happen before. Needless to say, I'm not spending money on expensive steak or beer or deserts until the tastebuds are back on duty.

Eat dog food until they come back. Save a little money.

I dropped several pounds in the past few days just from sweating.

Sounds lousy. Feel better and get those taste buds workin'. And in the meantime, avoid beer - alcohol is a congestant and will just plug you up even worse.

Eat the food you would hate to eat just to say you have.

nectar of the gods....I was one of the unlucky few who ate the salmonella tomatoes last week....I highly recommend it, and since you can't taste anything anyways Add a dose of dayquill and then order some Thai food, extra spicy, you should be able to taste that!

When I get sick and lose my sense of taste, I usually pop a few jalapeno peppers and it comes right back.

The Pepto or the Thai food? In either case, I don't watch them make sausage I just appreciate the "offal goodness" of it

Every food product you eat has an allowable foreign matter % where do you think the flavor comes from? Bwaaahahahaha

Actually, I'd keep an eye on your sense of taste (smell), because a bad cold or flu can actually damage the olfactory receptors to the point of no return. It will most likely return though once your are better.
