Is this tattoo tacky/cheesy/corny/whatever?

It's from Portrait of Tracy, right after the race of harmonics as the intro.

Certainly hope not, because it's fairly permanent. Go on, be honest!

It's a little late to be asking, isn't it? The question is moot.

I say it is cool, not to late to ask, that is drawn on his leg, if it were already tattooed his hair would have been shaved off the leg for the ink. I say go for it, looks good!!!

I don't like it. I think there are very few tattoos that look cool, and this isn't one of them.

It's a real tattoo (who would draw shades, and how?), and me likes!

I think it looks terrible...like a child ran amok with a marker

I'm not a fan of tattoos in general, but something like a subtle bass clef would have been nicer IMO.

Or its healed up, and he's had it for a while., and someone recently told him it was cheesy.

I don't think it looks terrible, but it isn't something I would want on my leg.

Personally, I would HATE it.

But so that you don't regret it completely for the rest of your life it was a nice idea...

meh.. it's too "stringy" or wispy (can't think of the right word..), but a tattoo IMHO should be a little bold, this one's kind of weak to be honest. It's actually a really creative idea, but I just dont think it works very well.

I would tend to agree, but there are artists who can really pull that sort of thing off, if it's what you want. i would say that the best thing to do is to draw it on a piece of paper that is the same size as your leg (wrap it around) and then bring it to an artist.

Yes, but in my opinion all tattoos are tacky/cheesy/corny/whatever.

I know what you mean but I'm really commenting on the design itself. It's very linear, thin-lined, and wraps around in an odd way, a good artist might take it and change it up so that it works better, I can see that 100%, but the design as is? Nah...not feelin' it.. like I said, very creative idea - I love the idea itself but the execution needs work.

I like the concept, a lot actually. Not to sure I like the artists execution of the piece. Really all that matters is, do you like it?

I agree. I'm just saying if you want a lighter feel, find an artist who can do it, as apposed to a guy who does bugs bunnies all day long.

I like the idea but I'd prefer it to run straight up and down, either on the inside or outside of your calf. IMHO, it's not bold enough to wrap around as it is now. Not being able to see the whole thing from one angle makes it hard to read or understand.
