So, it's tax time again. I'm a little excited. I'm thinking I'm going to buy some new gear (Maybe), a new wardrobe for my little one and myself and the rest goes to new house stuff!
What're you guys gonna spend yours on, if you're getting some?

I usually don't get much back, but this, due to school, I didn't make enough money to have to pay taxes and when I was working, I was paying taxes like I was making 40k a year. So I have a nice fat cheque coming my way.

-Mike | Same here. Yes, it tends to mean I have to pay taxes sometime between now and April 15 instead of getting back money, but I had more to spend and invest during 2010. It makes financial sense. Also, my company doesn't give out its annual bonus till mid/late February, which takes the sting out of paying in.

-Mike | That is exactly the way to look at it. I much prefer to pay out rather than get back anything - because getting back $ means I gave the gummint an interest-free loan all year.
But I do know that it feels great to get a check instead of writing one!

I should have some money left over for a Brice 5 string Fretless.
And I'm taking my fiancee out for our 2 year anniversary. Neither of us are sure exactly what the date was, so we just decided its sometime next weekend, for sure.
