The TB Division of Bass Guitar and Double Bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Wondering why there is no forum that would allow you to post a question, observation or statement that wasn't specific to either bass guitar or double bass but of potential interest to both? I know there are folks on both sides who rarely if ever cross the line so just posting on one side you're gonna miss some who might be interested.Potential crossover exist in the areas of theory, non-instrument specific music discussion and off topic.

I'm not by any means suggesting wholesale changes to the sight but one forum that crossed over is a good idea and not a real lot of work vs the potential gains.

there seems to have developed a gulf between the two, where the db side thinks we're all a bunch of flaky morons over here, and the bg side thinks they're all a bunch of stuffed shirts with superiority complexes.

ultimately, they're both right and that's why you don't see crossover. however, i would love if the education forums could be merged.

True. I'd like to find out in the same thread which electric bass and which DB is best for metal.

I was wondering if there were any good acoustic DB's out there, and if the SX ones are good.

Fuqua likes being a big fish in a small pond. Let's keep it that way.

Can you imagine the amount of pacemaker failures that would result from this? Besides, I don't want my Google targeted ads to start linking Metamucil advertisements.

Any more than they want theirs linked to ads for Pampers.

Um, what? Just because the majority of my recent posts have been in that thread, you thought I wasn't joking? And what exactly would be wrong with that, anyway? I've posted in every forum here, new guy.

It wasn't intended to be some witty barb. If you weren't new, you'd know I post in a lot more places than the Lakland thread.

I won't be filing yours under "good one", either.
