The other day, I was reading a thread about someone's experience while playing live with electric drums and I caight myself thinking how glad I was not having to worry about electric drums. Later that day I spoke to a prospective drummer who is trying out for my cover band this week (the only one btw), and he tells me he uses a Roland electric kit with acoustic cymbals!
A while later, I was reading another thread about a guitarist issue that practically mirrored a problem I recently experienced.
Both threads helped prepare me better for the relevant situations.
These are only 2 of many examples where TB has either "predicted" a situation that came up within a relative short time to me experiencing it in my own situation, or that a thread pops up when I need advice on a particular situation.
Anyone else get that?
