The TB Juggling club club!

Sign in to disble this ad
...see what I did there?

A club for those who hold a particular hatred for gravity; Jugglers.
Whether you're a professional (unlikely, I know) or an admirer, feel free to contribute your thoughts and appreciation for this most awesome of hobbies.

I'm currently working on my 5 ball cascade with a set of G-balls and I've been rocking a set of MMX2 balls and a set of PX3 luminous green clubs!
I've been juggling since I was 15 (4 years) and I've met an incredible amount of characters through the medium of juggling in that time by attending different conventions and going to club meetings.

So, tell TB about your juggling experiences, knowledge and keep us up to date on conventions!

P.S - Please try to keep poor, smutty ball jokes out of this (or else you'll be sacked....).

I learned how to juggle at Summer camp when I was 10 (33 years ago). I've never been able to juggle more than 3 of anything, but I've never really tried to improve my abilities beyond a couple of very simple tricks I learned back then. Juggling is kind of like riding a bike. Once you learn how, you'll always be able to.

Watch out! I saw another thread here where the FBI has identified you guys as a gang now. Keep all your jugga-stuff on the DL.

This is true. The part of the brain which connects both cerebral hemispheres (the corpus collosum) is much larger in people who can juggle solidly than those who cannot. Since it physically alters your brain it can't exactly be forgotten! (Or so I've heard...)
Also Mike, please don't associate us with anyone of that kind. Ever. We may be half-mad but at least we maintain a sense of decorum....

I don't juggle well at all, but I have been known to pick up three limes in the produce department and start juggling in order to quiet a screaming toddler in an adjacent cart. It works every time.

I *do* ride a unicycle, though. Does that count? (Note all the protective gear. This was my first day on the new - larger - wheel, and I had visions of a pedal whacking me in the shin.)

That's all we're good for to the outside community!
And yes, unicycling does count! Consider this the juggling, unicycling and acrobalance club!
