What Do you say?, I've seen a bunch of threads where people either cut their hair or are planning to . I believe long hair has nothing to do with being a rebel (Maybe it was in the 60's) To me it's just something I like.
For people saying that long hair is for irresponsible youngsters, I can say That I'm 24, a Teacher of 2 important Schools here in my country, also I'm finishing college. Join IF you want; also tell your stories too.

I haven't cut my hair in almost 10 years now. And it hasn't grown any longer in about 9. This isn't the greatest picture, but the best I have. Brown on black doesn't make for good contrast |

My hair hasn't been short since 1978 - I cut it for a job then, and it was a sucky job, so I didn't bother cutting it again.
Did cut the top and sides off, now it's a long rat tail.
Here's about the best you can see it.

HB - keeping it is as simple as not cutting it. It's worked for me...
Plus my wife has long hair, and whenever I've thought of cutting it, she convinces me not to. I do the same for her. We essentially hold one another's hair hostage....

Can't wait until this thread starts talking about your favorite schrunchy ponytail holders, blow dryers, detanglers, and which conditioner you use. |

We're not discussing blow dryers, conditioner or stuff like that, we're just showing that we have long hair and we like it.
I don't see nothing wrong or girlish about it.
Besides it takes a lot of character to have long hair and not let people take you down because of it.

I don't see anything girlish about having long hair either. But sitting around celebrating your long hair is just slippery slope to this. I present you exhibit A. Our fellow TB'r Eric618. He has a hat on because beneath that hat, and behind that frightened little gerbil is a head of frosted hair. Yes. I said frosted.
What's next, Stories about how people tell you how cool your long hair is? |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Bremen, Germany | | | It's cool maki. Here I just wanted to show some people how the length of your hair doesn't affect your abilities to perform as an active member of society; if you read my post you'll see that I'm also pointing this to people who believe Long hair is just for rebels or such.
Now, here I just want to see how many people on TB have long hair and do not get into situations like: having to cut it because of a job, etc.
I'm or we're not making comments like how handsome we look, or how many cool comments we get due to the length of our hair. It was you who entered here pointing such things.
Anyways, you're welcome any time to check if we ever start making "Queer Eye for the straigh guy" comments. You'll be some sort of a moderator of girlie comments.
