I saw her mentioned in your profile under "Bands" a year or so ago but do not recall your TB handle.
As I type this my 9-year old daughter is up in her room singing your boss' songs at full voice volume. She has been doing this for the past half hour.
Do you have any advice on how to get her to stop? Unfortunately for me I do not drink.
Please advise.
Signed,
A Dad

I would suggest just asking your daughter to stop singing - it's the best way.

You gotta love earplugs!

I would go with the competitive approach.

A Dad | You're complaining? My daughter is 22, and I'd give almost anything to go back to when she was nine or so, listening and singing along to the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. So go out for a walk, stick in some earplugs, whatever. Just let her be. Years from now you'll have memories you can share with her. And you'll be like me, wishing she was young again, if only for a moment.

She's being 9. You're being an old fuddy duddy. My 4 year old sings all kinds of stuff. She makes up songs, she sings Bon Jovi, she sings Itsy Bitsy Spider. I love it all because I know in a blink of an eye she won't be 4 any more.
