I'm starting school in Phoenix in August (moving there in June), and doing a scouting trip next month to get a feel for the area.
We're looking around S 16th St and E Broadway Rd, + / - ten or fifteen miles.
Anything in particular we should be looking for? Any good apartments or points of interest in the area? We're coming down from Kansas City with as much as we can fit into two small cars and scrounging the rest there, so we'll be looking for nearly everything.
I've found about six apartments to check out so far, we're just looking for insider tips. We'll be newly married and we've never really been more than 50 miles from Kansas City so this is a big deal for us. If there are neighborhoods to check out, ones to avoid, places to catch good coffee or music, we'll be there for three days soon so help us come up with some ideas. |
