Encino man's playing and they just failed to censor it. we may be getting through to these people.

true true I agree with that. I mean in the dialogue of the film, Bull **** is actually SAID and it's not censored.

Pauly is like Keanu Reeves in the respect no matter what movie they are in they are the same character in a different setting.

Even the highly respected Morgan Freeman comes to my mind.

I also had unforgiven in mind.

In fact that's probably my favourite movie with Morgan Freeman in it.

Perhaps I phrased it wrong.

The characters he plays are always so mellow, especially in contrast with the other actors.
Even in Unforgiven when he was the most calm and mellow one of the assasins.

But I just love how he plays that.

Or take Batman Begins.

The only reason I like that movie is because Michael Caine and Freeman are in it. Gives the move a lot more class.

Bad points: Kathie Holmes, Christian Bale.

this generation is all about censorship though...after all, we have to do things like "protect the children" and "save the planet from intolerable language" and be all NICE.

I still think it funny that America is one of the only civilized countries that thinks violence is ok in media formats but nudity isn't.

Most countries in Europe have the opposite culture and it makes sense. I would rather my kid see a boobie than someone getting an autopsy or getting murdered on CSI or similar shows.

but probobly not TBS.
