Tennessee's Head Coach!

Well, I gues it's official now, Lane Kiffin is the new Head Football coach at Tennessee. Hopefully this will work out better than his job with the Raiders.

I think Lane Kiffin has a very defensive based mind and imagine what he can do with Eric Berry.

He might be a good defensive coach, but it's impossible to tell based on his track record. He was always an offensive coach (QB, O-line, WR and then USC's offensive coordinator) and with the Raiders Ryan was given pretty much free reign by Al Davis to run the defense however he wanted.

At the very least, he can always call his dad for ideas.

Here at Miami (Ohio - You know, the original Miami. Just remember kids, Miami was a University when Florida still belonged to Spain - True Story - anyway), our head coach just resigned after 4 years. I knew him and his wife personally, and they were great people. I hate that it didn't work out here for him.

The search is now on. Here at the "Cradle of Coaches" mediocrity will not do. It will be an intensive search . . . if we could only afford Fulmer!!! Shane Montgomery was the lowest paid coach in D1 football at $150,000 . . . we need to step it up in the money department.

Sorry to partially hijack the thread, but at least I mentioned Fulmer.
