So is there really another Terminator movie? Sheesh. What more can they possibly do with this series? The trailer on ESPN.com says something about "we fight back". I thought they fought back in another movie or in the TV series?

New director, new writers, new actors (not that there was ever a constant in that regard, with exception to Arnie), slightly modified storyline. I'm actually pretty excited for it. |

Apparently Arnie is making a cameo in it

Forum Administrator | | Join Date: Mar 2000 Location: atlanta ga | | | as i understand it, the "future" that the original terminator and kyle reese came from, who educated sarah (And then john) connor about what was coming, was changed by this. so basically john connor knows a little bit more than the average joe, but a lot of skynet and the terminator story has changed a lot due to their previous meddling.

Anyways, the famous Christian Bale rant comes from the filming. If you don't know what I'm talking about, do a "Christian Bale" search on Youtube. Definitely not work safe but friggin hilarious! |

I think with the combination of every major news network covering it, plus the now infamous Peter Griffin overdub of it made it common knowledge. |

Yes, dad was checkin' out the hottie while son was watching the doggies. Does that make me a bad bad man??

This, AFAIK is kind of the next step from the Connor Chronicles. Oh yeah, Moon is smoking hot. I'm actually looking forward to this movie. |

Then people would assume I was either Luke or Han from ep. IV. GOSH!

T2 is one of my top 5 movies.
Sarah O'Connor chronicles is one of my fav. series ever.(Mostly because of Summer Glau though.Man I love that chick. )
Biggest difference is,this movie is going to take place in the future, after the Skynet launches the nukes as I see.I'm excited about this one.Wish Summer Glau was in it too though.

Been a Terminator fan since I was little, but haven't watched Chronicles yet. Guess I gotta go get it at the Hajji shop.
Peace,
Greg

Harry at AICN isn't known for rationalising his opinions, so read what he thinks of it here (warning - fruity language). I tend to find myself agreeing with most of his reviews, but I'll probably still go and see it.
Arnie isn't "personally" in it - it's a CG model of him, made from scanning the body casts made for his prosthetics in the first film. It's supposed to look pretty convincing though. |

Just go rent T1 and T2 (you can skip T3 and the TV series) and that'll tell you all you'll need to know. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
