terrible education system

Right now im posting this from a school computer. my teacher should be watching me, but hes not. this is math class and i have an A, im the only one in the class who does, yet i can go on the computer and post threads on talkbass.

As a fellow teacher, I've copied your IP address and sent it to your teacher. You now have Saturday detention. You didn't realize that we're all connected through TeacherNet did you?

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot that we all have log files to track our student's activities. Good luck with that.

Yeah. I don't get it either.

I mean, you have an A in the class, so obviously your learning something. Probably not enough common sense though since your posting on TB while in school.

Oh yeah, btw, Mr Brutal. You have just ruined the internet priveleges for everyone else that comes through that lab, because as soon as your teacher checks your logs, he will remember to turn that off for the other students that roll through there. People love people like you.

im saying, my teacher is so bad that i can do this, hes like 3 computers down from me, and ive learned NOTHING in this class. the bells gonna ring in 4 mins. peace out.

If you've learned nothing in this class, is that because the teacher isn't teaching, or because you're in a class that is far below your learning potential?

Give the kid a break guys...

When I was his age I was sitting in the corner playing mine sweeper on my palm pilot, still getting A's/B's and was damn proud of it....So congrats welcome to the world of slacking... I always said "Anyone can work real hard and get an A, it takes talent to do nothing and get a B."

Ps. For future reference this is the internet and nobody gives a poop and a half that you managed to sneak on to TB, next time post something interesting.

In my High School CAD class I would host a Halo LAN party everyday. I did all my work and sometimes the teacher joined in. He was a cool guy. He was a bass player too, so TalkBass.com was allowed.

nah it's the blaming the teacher for him being on TB that bugged me.
Lord knows, I slacked off in school... I'm posting from work right now matter of fact, but I 'aint exactly blaming my boss for it. I'm a slacker all by myself

Pfft, we used to play Firearms (Half life mod) and Duke Nukem on the school PCs instead of working.

Terrible education system? No.

The education system isn't there to force you to learn. It is there so you can apply yourself and advance your own learning. Oh, and you may have an A right now, but everyone has a level they can manage without trying.

I know how far I got without trying, and then when it comes to a point when you should try, and don't think you have to, you're on the recieving end of failing.

Fortunatley when that happened to me, I was able to resit that part of my studies. Did teach me a valuable lesson tho.

Of, and for the record. You interwebs fail.
