I'm glad I contributed, because I'm opinionated and likely to piss a bunch of people off- so at the end of the day, if it only cost me $20.00 to get under someones skin its quite the bargain!
A band I was in opened for Leslie West back around '98. Randy Coven was playing bass for him at the time. The whole show was promoted badly, but we got to open 2 or 3 nights running for some big names from the 60s that weekend. I have never understood why Mountain wasn't more popular, or why Felix's wife saw the need to place a bullet in that wonderful bass playing composing arranging head of his.
