I don't use text at all, it's people around me.
I don't even carry my phone with me.

Why are you letting what they do bug you so much? Is it getting in the way of your life somehow?

Nah , just venting.
But if your texting in driving it affects everyone on the road with you.

Theres already a thread about this.

I agree, dont get yourself so wrapped up in other peoples affairs. If they want to text, let them.

I agree. That's why I don't text and drive. I have to keep my focus on the texting-driving morons around me.

I prefer texting because it's short and to the point. If you call someone, you run the risk of an unplanned, longer-than-necessary phone call. I only have a limited number of minutes/month for phone calls. I however have unlimited texting capabilities. I have a feeling that a lot of people have this option as well. It's a fast paced world with sound and conversation bytes ruling the day.

With that being said, I still miss the olden days though when there were no computers or cell phones.

I used to hate people texting. But since my girlfriend has started going to school in a different city I've been texting a lot. It's really handy for us to keep in touch throughout the day. Although I do find it annoying to carry on a conversation through text.

One of my sister's friends has 5,000 texts a month.

I'm barely pushing 300 and I think I'm overdoing it.

I only text when driving on March 14th while my honey is feeding me steak & performing Bob Jones on a bumpy road with a beer in my hand. Did I cover it all?

j/k

I'm sorry other peoples texting bothers you...

My Daughter could easily reach 5K/month. I probably average 10-20
