I am thankful that this year I landed a wonderful job that enables me to buy basses instead of selling them all off, which has been the course these last few years.

I am thankful to still be among the living! I am thankful for my family, my job, and the low resale value of the basses I like the most!

I am also thankful for my Eden combo. I think my EGRW264 is even better than the Markbass I used to have.

I am thankful for my family...especially my wife for being so understanding of my love for bass, and playing in my band. I'm also thankful for the excellent job that I have, especially after having to make a career change in my late 30's just four years ago. Blue collar factory worker/union guy to a white collar desk jockey.

Being from Detroit, I figured you would have mentioned something about the Lions playing some decent football!

Glad you made it through all that, cheers!

too funny... but what instrument doesn't have a low resale value these days. More and more people are keeping what they buy because they don't want to be low balled. I keep buying, but not selling...just crept up to 5 basses...even though I probably only need 2... It's all an investment, and you can break out even if you buy used.

I am thankful that I found music, and that it gave me an incentive to graduate from school and get back on the right path. I am thankful for my equipment, as simple or unsophisticated as it may seem to some - my number one bass has been by my side longer than any friend I have. I am thankful for anyone who has ever expressed support for my playing and my music, and I am thankful for my awesome guitar player who will stand by me until we either both make it or we both die.

Thankful for having both daughters home, everyone healthy and happy, and (on a food-oriented note) the smoker going with the turkey ready to go in.
