Looks as though he poached English and, after gutting it, finds it unpalatable.

Poaching in what respect? A few serfs stealing some of the lords game to eat, or people who go shoot up a bunch of elephants for their ivory?

Wow there are a lot of teachers in the audience do you give grammer lessons or just criticism? If it bothers you i could write in total Texas vernaculars.

Just as we hate a real policeman when we are clocked at six MPH over the limit, grammar police are needed so that we won't forget our wonderful language.

From the English as a 2nd language guide to fundamentals of grammer on about.com:

Quote:
Punctuation is used to mark the cadence, pauses, and tone in written English. In other words, punctuation helps us to understand when to pause between fully formed ideas when speaking, as well as organize our thoughts in writing. English punctuation marks include:

period .
commas ,
question mark ?
exclamation mark !
colon :
semi colon ;

Beginning English learners should focus on understand the period, comma and question mark. Intermediate to advanced student should also learn how to use colons and semi colons, as well as an occasional exclamation mark.

http://esl.about.com/od/englishgramm...unctuation.htm
That should walk you, along with other non-native speakers through the basics. Feel free to come back with more questions* if you have them.

*hint for the beginning English user: use the "?" at the end of your sentence to indicate you're looking for information.

In all fairness, at times your posts can verge on unreadable.

Just use one comma and it would make way more sense.... Or use full stops like that.

Don't go getting all offended on us or anything, I'm pretty sure everybody is just trying to help.

Makes sense. There's a (relatively) easy fix for it I believe, but people don't seem to like the idea. Farming.

If you had farms of elephants, you could harvest their tusks and sell it without killing or harming the animal, the price of ivory would drop, people would get their ivory and poachers would find themselves rapidly with no or unprofitable business. It's like prohibition, you drive the prices up by making legitimate business illegal and supply scarce.

I believe many endangered and threatened species could be protected this way. Tigers etc. for their furs, and even testicles which are apparently in demand (as with anything, you only need a few studs, the rest are neutered), rhino's for horns, whatever.

Hell, you can even eat them if you want. I bet you get a decent sized piece of rump stake off an elephant, don't know how it tastes though. That might be taking it a bit far for some people though, but you sure get a lot more meat killing one elephant than you do killing one cow, or one chicken.

Bottom line is that in my opinion the more rules and regulations you put in place to stop the sale of animal product that is prohibited, the more the poachers stand to gain, and the more coveted the product becomes. You can't take away the demand, that much should be obvious by now, so instead fill it by legitimate means.

Farming endangered species means that you protect their wild counterparts from threats such as poaching, you preserve the species for breeding purposes and prevent extinction, you build a functioning industry and you learn more about the species than you ever would otherwise.

well it is a speed LIMIT not a minimum allowable speed.

I grew up shooting deer year round in order to eat. We were poor. Am I evil? do I deserve hate?

Sim98,I full on appreciate your clear and unprovoking way of getting to the point. I will cool it with the commas and just get to the point. It is awesome that a 20 yr. Old can be so clear and to the point without being snarky sounding; not that anyone else was being that way it was just the choice of words came across as such. Point taken, thanks again, lets move on.

If you have to eat, eat IMO. That is a lot different than shooting a Rhyno for its horns.
