of Talkbass? I've been playing bass for a few years now, and Talkbass has helped me IMMENSELY. Now, I'm going to pick up the guitar.. Does anyone here know of a good forum for guitarists? I haven't found any nearly as good as this one.

| | | | The Gear Page is good, just don't expect the warm, fuzzy Talkbass community. We're just nicer, smarter people.

| | | | Guitar players are too cocky to ask questions or answer them so I'm afraid an online community with any value other than watching show boating diddling is out of the realm of possibility. |

There were a couple related to Fender Guitars and Jackson Guitars that I went to for a while but don't expect the warm respones you get here, talk bass is the best site . |

| | | | The Gear Page is incredibly annoying and is very biased towards certain guitars and they tend to not care about anything else. When you search for things it feels very limited on content unless you are looking for something about Les Pauls, PRS or Fender.
Ultimate Guitar is a bunch of high school kids that find the forums while looking for metallica tabs. |

I signed up to the Gear Page, but I never go there. I definitely agree that the community here is much nicer. But then again, I've been a member for 10 years, so I could just be comfortable.

At best the other brands are imitations of these.

And yeah, it's really slow and can be pretty serious. But if you look hard enough there is plenty of humor
