HAWT DAWG! what a freaking good movie! have you seen it yet? what did you think? if you haven't, RENT IT NOW!
The score was particularly interesting. VERY unorthodox tracks using the sounds you would expect, but not the music you would expect.
INCREDIBLE acting on both the main character's parts. Daniel-Day Lewis has always been one of my favorite actors and dammit if he didn't hit another home run.

It is virtuoso film making and acting, but I felt there was something missing until I got the joke.

On another note on netflix ...I rated American History X, The Believers and other similar films with 5 stars ...how come they don't recommend me some white supremacist films? Not even documentaries? c'mon!

I was expecting it to have more gore and guts like Gangs of New York. Still a great flick though, I got it on my DVR!

I felt like the movie never got off the ground, and that Daniel Day-Lewis's character wasn't developed in a logical, seamless way. Too bad - I usually like these kind of moveis. I wanted to really like this, instead I walked away saying "Meh". |
