HAWT DAWG! what a freaking good movie! have you seen it yet? what did you think? if you haven't, RENT IT NOW!

The score was particularly interesting. VERY unorthodox tracks using the sounds you would expect, but not the music you would expect.

INCREDIBLE acting on both the main character's parts. Daniel-Day Lewis has always been one of my favorite actors and dammit if he didn't hit another home run.

I've seen it. EXCELLENT acting, and I'm a big Day-Lewis fan. However, what a depressing ending! That movie is kind of a gradual spiral downwards for the protagonist, and it sure bottoms out at the end.

I thought it was a great comedy. The ending had me rolling. if it weren't for that I wouldn't have liked it anywhere as much.

It is virtuoso film making and acting, but I felt there was something missing until I got the joke.

I feel the same way. his life/luck couldn't have ended in a 'better' way ...and a one liner film ending that says it all. PERFECTION if you ask me.

On another note on netflix ...I rated American History X, The Believers and other similar films with 5 stars ...how come they don't recommend me some white supremacist films? Not even documentaries? c'mon!

Give the genre a 1 star rating or go into the gay and lesbian section and mark everything as not interested

Great movie too.

I bought it on pay per view the other night, friggin awesome! I'm not sure why it had the R rating though.... I was expecting it to have more gore and guts like Gangs of New York. Still a great flick though, I got it on my DVR!

Great acting, but the plot and dialogue left quite a bit to be desired. I felt like the movie never got off the ground, and that Daniel Day-Lewis's character wasn't developed in a logical, seamless way. Too bad - I usually like these kind of moveis. I wanted to really like this, instead I walked away saying "Meh".
