And I'm seeing Medeski, Martin, and Wood there in the middle of Feb.
I'm really stoked. |

I've seen them a few times, always a fun show. The quality of their opening acts seems to very greatly. I saw a band called Frente open for them who were pretty good, though not really my kind of stuff. But I also the worst band I've ever seen opened for them once - Death Groove Love Party. Terrible.
Have fun. |

Seriously though, that sounds awesome. I haven't gotten to see them live but I've heard/seen a few concerts they recorded, and it sounds and looks like a great time.

If you don't have it already, check out their "Here Come The ABCs" CD and DVD. Even my wife and I would sing along. |

"I've seen the best hair of my generation destroyed by styling mousse".

Back to TMBG. Two things I always loved about them were the Dial-A-Song (which I think still works) and the fact that live they would take requests. Not for their own songs, but for ANY song. I've seen them do Aqualung and Copa Cabana among others. Good stuff. |
