New Air Jordans still incite shopper violence 9 years after player's retirement - CNN.com

Wonder how long it will be before we hear about people being shot for their shoes again.

People have been shot for their shoes around my area. At least two people have died over some Nikes or Jordans. I just want to know why there is such a high concentration of idiocy in my county in particular. It's seriously mind blowing.

Nothing new. Happened when I was a kid, too. The "values" have been passed on to the next generation.

To you and I, they are just shoes.

Some people see them as status symbols.

I just ordered some Dan Post boots. Way more expensive than Air Jordans, and cooler too. Can't run in 'em though.
