Good luck getting tickets. Unless you can pay scalper prices.
The Boston Museum of Fine Art is a must on your list. They have
many exquisite paintings by well known artists. It is a
world class museum. About a quarter of a mile away is the
Isabella Gardner Museum, which has some very famous pieces as well.
You can reach there by taking the Green Line west on Huntington Avenue.
(There is a fancy restaraunt on the first floor and a very reasonable
cafeteria in the basement.)

The Museum of Science in Cambridge is awesome. Imax theater and Hayden
planetarium.

Boston has a very nice Aquarium right on the harbor. Also,
the USS Constitution is moored in Boston Harbor in Charlestown
which is directly across the Charles River.
It is affectionately known as 'Old Ironsides' and is the oldest
comissioned vessel in the US Navy.
The North End is an old section of town that has an Italian
flavor and abounds with good restaurants.
The old North Church, of Paul Revere fame is in the North
End, info is here:

Copley Place is a nice area for shopping, the young lady will
like that. There is a skywalk from the Marriott that will take
you to some food courts on the other side heading towards
the Hilton Hotel.
Of all the restaurants in Beantown, my faves are Grill 23 near
the Park Plaza. Davio's is also in that neighborhood, and their
food is great. Expensive, but one good meal should be in the
program.
No Boston trip is complete without a walk around Harvard Yard
and Harvard Square. Take the Red Line to Cambridge. The
Harvard COOP is a great bookstore if you like that kind of thing.
Enjoy your trip.
