Things to do in NY

Looking for things to do with my family. I live here, but I know nothing as the "sites" never interested me. Looking for things to do with my family aside from get dinner.

I'm catering to a feeble old man, a sister, and a mother so take that into consideration.

No they don't want to go to music stores.

You could go to the Central Park Zoo. That'll kill a half-hour.

Bronx Zoo although it might be getting cold over there. The Met, Museum of Natural History, Statue of Liberty , Radio City, Ground Zero , South Street Sea Port , go out to Long Island. If you need ideas for LI let me know.

What is there to do on LI?

We usually just go into the city when want to find something to do.

Went to Times Square with my family, I just dropped them off at the hotel. We'll be getting some eats soon.

Posting on TB from my phone is fun.

Definitely too cold for Splish Splash (and an hour and a half drive at least from the city).

There's some good museums in Queens that people forget about (because they're not the major ones) - PS1 in Long Island City, Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, and some others that I forget as well.
You could take them to my neighborhood (Jackson Heights) and check out Little India - great food there!

Take the double decker tour bus, lots of fun and you can use it as a taxi (free on and off at all their stops)

Doesn't New York have a little something called "The Empire State Building"?
BTW, I had a friend who hated going to NYC. He always said thedre was nothing to do. Then again, he's one of those guys who had a dood time once and didn't like it.
