Anybody remember the X-15? Not the rocket, the tricycle?

Predecessor to the big wheel, with a deathly joystick for "steering"

I had one of these in the late '60's

Gaaaahhhhh! I remember those. They might as well have made the carnage complete and simply installed a machete with the blade facing the driver's face instead of the "joystick". *shudder*
