I hope this is not true, but Ben Rothlisberger is approaching knucklehead status. For the second time in a year, there are sexual assault allegations against him. At the very minimum. He needs to be much more careful about the female company he keeps. If he really is attacking women, he may be about to lose much more than a nice NFL career.

I've heard a fair bit of his conversations with other players pregame. He's a very good QB, but a dumbass socially.

It's looking kind of dicey for Big Ben. The Milledgeville, GA police say they are just in the preliminary stages of the investigation. Apparently Rothlisberger had reserved teh VIP room, and had his security keep out all men except his crew. For 90 minutes his people recruited women for the room. I'm not sure he is charged with any sort of penetration, but he's definitely accused of grabbing booties without permission.

For what it's worth he has hired the lawyer that got Ray Lewis off. If it's just but grabbing, he may get off, but the Big Ben seems to be clueless.

Just because he's a good athlete (which by the way I'm not convinced of...the TEAM was/is great, he's good...) does not automatically mean he's a good person.

He's the object of a criminal investigation. I don't know him, but I know of him. I think I would commen about anyone I know or know of if he found himself subject to a criminal investigation for sexual assault twice within two years. Famous or not, the circumstances that Rothlisberger finds himslef in suggest very poor judgement at minimum on his part.

For the record, I am a Rothlisberger fan. I like his game, and I generally like his swagger. I really would not want to see him lose the things he has earned over being stupid with women.

Agreed with all of the above.

I am not "hating" on Rothlisberger at all, just don't think he's a good dude, and he's certainly not a SMART one.

I may be stupid, but I heard on ESPN that the FBI was swabbing down the bathroom of the bar, CSI style. I would think that is for something beyond ass grabbing. This reeks of "blown out of proportion". the only thing they said about the girl who accused him on ESPN was "some people who are an acquaintance of the girl said she seemed like a normal person who wouldn't make this up". Come on. If he did it, he should pay for it, but I'm thinking that this is a tempest in a teapot.
