Three large meals or continuous, smaller meals?

Do you eat three large meals a day, or eat smaller meals and snacks continuously?

I do the three (sometimes two) meals a day, but I'm trying to transition over to continuous, small meals for a couple of reasons. I get clinically low blood sugar easily, so skipping a meal has bad repercussions for me. Furthermore, I find that with college life and working as an EMT, it's difficult to find time to sit down and eat three large meals at around the same time each day.

3 large+near-constant snacking for me. I used to be able to do this, but at 44 I'm starting to lose my girlish figure.

Definitely numerous smaller meals. Keeps blood sugar levels more constant, and it's better for keeping weight off. I'm about the same age as bassteban, and if I ate just a couple of big meals a day, I'd be a bigger tub of goo than I already am.

I usually eat a normal sized breakfast in the morning, then eat a large meal around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, and then just snack the rest of the day.

I generally eat a small meal for lunch and a moderate dinner with some light snacking throughout the day.
I know breakfast is the most important thing (of the things you eat) but I just can't seem to stomach food before 11am without feeling sick.

I eat like once a day. It's a main reason I'm a fat bastid. That, and beer.

At 18 I was 130lbs, now at 20 I am 175, although that it mostly muscle. I eat four meals a day. One around 9:30 or 10, one at 1 one at 6 and another small one around 9. I eat around 3000 calories a day, most people would put on weight like crazy, but I stay around the same. I do physical labour all day so I am constantly burning it.

Two or three small meals, and lots of snacking.

Yeah, twice is a good day. Bowl of cereal in the AM, sandwich at night. Sometimes just the sandwich, but that's how you get by paying $10 a week for food.

I normally eat a pretty good breakfast and a large dinner. I prefer to snack throughout the day, a couple bites here and there...... and there, and there and there.

I generally eat many small things throughout the day. One thing that really seemed to improve was my GERD.

I try to eat smaller meals through out the day. Unless its thanksgiving, but that's a given.
