DC police pull pistols on kids throwing snowballs? The police first denied deadly force was used on the people throwing snowballs but dang, this pesky photo shows up.

In Brussels some kids steal handbags by throwing snowballs at people to distract them.

I thought it was pretty funny really. The off duty police officer is driving his Hummer down the road and gets hit by a snow ball. So he get out pulls out a gun? Slightly over reacting don't you think?

That cop reminds me of one of my sisters former boyfriends, he had put his Audi in first gear, pushed the gas and drove into me when I threw a snowball on his windscreen. His reply after asking him what the **** was wrong with him was, 'there was sand in that snow, i don't like scratches on my car'.

The snowball was made from fresh fallen snow on a footpath without sand...

Maybe tazers don't work so well in snow? With the moisture and all.

Ya that is pretty crazy. 14 and U is always a hot spot in DC though, right by Ben's. Theres been lots of riots in that part of the city over the years. Not that Im excusing the cop or anything.

Don't care about the video, but that was an amazing chant.

14 and U seems pretty polished to me. A planned snowball fight isn't exactly 1968.

That cop's an idiot and his union is going to be working overtime to save his stupid butt.

However,

Moral of the story:
Don't throw snowballs at passing cars. It scares the crap out of the driver. It's dangerous.

Gun brandishing aside I'd love to be involved in a mass snowball fight. Perhaps an intersection that is apparently being traveled; albeit lightly, wasn't the best choice of locations, but still. Sure I've been in a 5 or 6 person snowball fight,...but a snowball melee? That,....would,...be,....AWESOME!!
