I didn't simply fix them, I improved upon the original design

I made a potato cannon if that counts as ghetto. PVC pipe, some PVC cement, and an ignitor. Great fun.

My Sennheiser headphones stopped working. It turns out that the wires needed to be re-soldered. I guess carefully taking them apart and applying some solder doesn't count as ghetto.

Depends on what they look like afterwards.

And I almost did that with mine but my mom tossed them...

I fixed a tractor tire yesterday with a few squirts from a tube of clear silicon adhesive caulk. Rural ghetto fix . . .

When the E on my Fender popped out the nut I just wound some elastic bands jsut above the nut, then after a while cut off part of the silk run off on the string with the knife on a corkscrew.

At my school concert last Thursday, the amp was fuzzing massively. I traced the problem down to a loose input jack, and used a complex lattice of sellotape to keep the lead held in place.

That's all I can think of for the moment.

I've ghetto rigged a number of things in my time, but few were quite as ghetto or as rigged as the legendary Funk Masheen. I have an old 15 watt combo amp that I haven't used in a very long time, so some friends and I decided for some reason last summer that it would be a good idea to entirely gut it and put it in a new enclosure. Here is the result.

(The speaker hole is supposed to be a bison.)
