There is only spacetime: a medium in which matter exists only at one point but can move around. Time measures the sequence of these movements relative to a standard movement (like the movement of an electron or something, I don't know exactly how atomic clocks work).
at least, I'm pretty sure that's how time works. Fdeck, you're a physicist, am I on the right track?

My body seems to register the passage of time *shrug*

The arbitrary nature of the measuring device doesnt change the fact that time does exist.
So the original statement that 'time doesnt exist', is obviously pretarded.

A really really useful one!

Asking if time is there time is like asking is there is love, anger or faith. You can't touch it but that doesn't mean its not there, and without humans there would be nothing to care wether there was time or not.
There is a begging and an end or cycle to almost everything, inbetween is just what you call it and maybe make divisions upon it. |

Without time, everything everywhen would exist at the same time. Space would be useless, I'd constantly be bumping into colonists fighting it out with native americans, while simultaneously fleeing a hoverboard riding T-Rex.
