I do like the Ting Tings.

There's some really great acoustic versions of their songs on the album too.

I have no use for non-bass bands, sorry. Also never enjoy watching people pretending to play with backing tracks.
I don't understand how these bands become famous and get on national TV. Oh and it was a repeat and didn't like it the first time.
But I don't fit their demographic so none of this surprises me at all.

I got their album "We Started Nothing". (Every other year, I fall for a bit of Brit Pop - last time it was Lily Allen.)

Seems pretty catchy and creative to me. Not too hard on the ears - even easier on the eyes (at least the singer).
