I miss 7-11 stores! When I lived in VA we would get a large slurpee and put Bacardi 151 in them. Yum!

For whatever reason 7-11 pulled out of this market over a decade ago. Whenever I'm in D/FW I always make sure to get one.

At Couche-Tards we don't have slurpee day, but there are flavors such as Winshield Washer, Wild Tar, Swamp, and Beaten Chick (this sounds so wrong in english).

Oh, that's why there were free slushies there today. I went with my friend today and some employee came up to us and asked if we wanted free slurpees. We got some but I didn't know why they were doing that. I probably wouldn't have noticed why had I not seen this thread.

Whoever invented this was a pretty good marketing guy. My friends and I went out looking for the free slurpees. They had a set number of "Special" cups at the beginning of the day, and after that no more free slurpees. So we all ended up buying them. Given the size of the display that the free ones were on, I'd say it was no more than like 50 a store .

I just stopped in one actually to grab some salt and vinegar chips I was craving and I guess the cashier was cool and told me they were out of free cups but I could get one of the large fat ones for free. Still fighting the brain freeze!
