I still need to hijack an icecream truck and paint it with my friends.
Who then ditch me in the middle of nowhere.

Every day is a great day. While I've had many "great" days, some are better than others for different reasons (getting married, birth of my daughter, etc.).
But I do believe every day is the greatest, because for the most part I live in the here and now. What's happened in the past, while great, is still in the past. What may happen in the future hasn't happened yet that I'm aware of.
So right now, this moment is simply the greatest!

She came back to my apartment to spend the night. We literally spent the entire night dividing our time between sex, shots of tequila, and the occasional feeding of some sort of fruit to one another. That was a pretty great day.
Then there's the day that my ex-wife finally stopped dragging me back into court and signed the divorce papers...also, a pretty great day. But today? No. There is nothing special about today. In fact; today is a bit on the cruel side. For you see, my new Sadowsky is "out for delivery" and I've already alerted my girlfriend so that she can be there when the big brown truck brings it (I'll still be at work). But since I shot an air powered staple through my left index finger yesterday, I will only be able to look at and hold my new Sadowsky. Won't be able to play it for a day or so.
So no...this is not the greatest day I've ever known. |

I recently stopped hittin' the green stuff, so my mind is slowly waking up again. Feels pretty good.
So it is a good day. But is it the leading edge of all time and universe? Maybe.

I only ever saw him a handful of times at family reunions, so I never actually knew the guy, but it's still sad.

so it is a good day but not the best ever. i have lost "the muse" and really actually have no desire to play music anymore in any capacity. anyone else have this? so it's kind of a bad day.
so it kind of evens out i guess. |
