The tomato thread

So...I just polished off a cup of tomato soup for lunch and I have to say; it was wonderful! I love, love, LOVE tomato soup. I don't think I've ever had a bad tomato soup. And on the rare occassion that I have a burger, it swims in ketchup. Nothing better than a greasy burger with ketchup dripping from it! But I think the most disgusting food in the world has got to be the tomato. I can't stand them. I don't even like them to be in the same room as my food; let alone on my food. Everyone thinks I'm wierd. Anyone else out there feel this way?

Tomato soup = vulgar.
Ketchup = only good for fries and meatloaf.
Sun-dried tomatoes = disgusting.
Spaghetti sauce = awesome.

Tomatoes are the most confusing vegetable (fruit) I've ever seen.

Yes. I also feel that you are weird. Tomatoes are obviously delicious.

Incorrect, sir. See my post above. Tomatoes rely too much on additional flavorings to be in-and-of-themselves delicious.

I love all forms of tomatoes. I have frequently taken a tomato and a salt shaker to work, and eaten it just like that.

I order fast food: "I'd like a large ketchup with a side of fries."

Spaghetti is easily my favorite form of tomato in a meal.

You've never eaten a fresh tomato straight out of the garden?

Oh, the humanity!
