Tomorrow is the day (new wife content)

Hey all,

I'm getting married tomorrow! I will join the ranks. And yes, I already did test out whether I can play bass easily with the wedding band on...

My plan for the day is to workout, eat a feast of meat & vegetables, perhaps go target shooting, and of course, see what the latest pictures are in the Funniest Pictures thread. Any other suggestions for things to do tomorrow?

Honeymoon in HI - 10 days on Oahu, staying right on the beach (Waikiki). YEAH! Our reception is at a local fire hall, where we have an EXCELLENT local band (The BLue Method), soul food, and open bar. I also have an obnoxiously large victory cigar for after the reception. ("That's the finest wedding I've ever been to...").

ian

P.S. As a brief comment - we give diamond engagement rings. Where's my Fodera (same price)?

Let me be the first to say Congratulations!....and thanks. You have saved my marriage and possibly my life by starting this thread minutes before I hit the "new posts" button. Tomorrow is my anniversary and it is a strong possibility I would have forgotten if I hadn't seen this post.
So, once again, Thank You and Congratulations!!!!
BTW, yeah, the bass is easily played with a wedding band. I've been doing it for 9 years with two different wedding bands.

Congratulations, hope you both have a great day and best of luck for the future..
just dont do what my best friend did..mountain biking ..spend most of the morning at the hospital trying to get the swelling down after a face plant...all his wedding pics are from one side to try hide the black eye,i am almost certain the black and blue marks that turned up a few days later were given by his wife..still married 12 years later so i think she forgives him now..

Congrats.

Once again I must note, don't overdo it on the workout. You'll have plenty of fun working out on the Honeymoon. After that, you'll have to work out on your own

Excellent! A word of advice, if I may. Limit your party intake at the reception. Stay cool, sober, and suave. Your wife will love you all the more for it.

And don't be afraid to give the best man the hook if his speech is lame!

Geez you're not even going to invite us all to the reception? It's not like we will eat everything, drain the bar, flip over tables and hit on the bridesmaids or anything...oh wait...yeah, nevermind. We'll just stay over here then.

Congrats! health and happiness to ya both

Got it planned out - a little bit of rowing, some medium deadlifting & a some pull ups. Nothing too extreme!

Thanks!

Thanks for the thoughts & advice!

Mistake #1 - I didn't have time to call the point of contact at the fire hall, so we have 2 kegs of Coors Light instead of 1 Yuengling & 1 Miller Lite. This, of course, is the firemen's favorite at that firehouse, and they regularly drink the remainders... Now I get to hear all the uncles complain all night. Well, if they don't like it, GTFOH. It is free to them!

We're staying at the Hale Koa hotel (next to the Hilton). Looks pretty nice.

I'll post a photo when I get home or when I get back - I don't have any on my work computer.

Happy for you both, and that honeymoon location...fantasmo!

Seen the movie about Owen Wilson crashing weddings? I'm single, and available for a party, oops-too far away to attend, tomorrow...
Lucky you!

Less than 24 hours to go, but still time for a quick trip to Vegas.

Don't limit it too much. Remember to have a good time at the reception.
