Because andrew was the chosen person today. It doesn't change each time someone supports, instead it changes daily. You'll be lucky if you see your picture up there.

Hopefully that wasn't the only reason.

If Paul changed the "Thank You" member every time someone new contributed he'd probably have to do it several times a day. You may never see it anyway. Case in point, there are two that signed up today just in this thread.
