Bumping this again, anyone doing it?

Signed up for the Central Texas event in October. We have a team started for Sunday, so if you still want to sign up, we can add people and get a few bucks off the price.

I signed up for Rampage at the RAC, which is in October. Not quite on this level, but it's a start.

Can't be that tough. A 42 year old woman I know has done one three times. Actually, she runs 8-10 miles a day, is in superb shape and broke three ribs last outing. Sounds like a real ordeal.

I missed the one in Washington since we were moving. There is one here in a couple weeks, but I may have to pass. I have torn cartilage in my right knee, so I doubt I'd be able to complete the course. My doctor won't clear me to participate, but I might try it anyway and see how far I get.

One beautiful bonus of losing weight....at 370 pounds, I would have had no chance at this.

Since it is not a race, it does not interest me. However, if it was a race, then it would be a blast!

Two down. Maybe I'll do a third in the fall?

While it isn't a race, there is a yearly event for the Toughest Mudder. Only the top finishers of each event are qualified. The Toughest Mudder event is 24 hours. Do as many laps as possible. Does that work for you gttim?

No thank you, while I am an Army guy I'm on the verge of being a very broken Army guy at this rate (knees already speak to me every day, sometimes they don't say nice things) so anything past 5 miles or so is gonna require an order in writing from a Commissioned Officer. Does look good though, and good job!

Peace,
Greg
