Translation of an Asian logogram?

Sign in to disble this ad
I found this picture outside my college apartment about 10 years ago and it has hung in the bathroom of every place I've lived since. I've never attempted to get it translated so I figured today was as good as any. Anyone happen to know it or can point me in the direction of a website that specialized in this?

Also, let me apologize if "asian" isn't PC. I have a hard time keeping up with what is OK and what isn't these days.

Thanks,

Thank god this isn't a "hey I want to get this tattooed on my forehead, I need it translated to make sure it doesn't say " I eat badger excrement""

No idea I'm not Asian, so I can't read it or do Karate. looks chinese/ mandarin though.

"All Employees Must Wash Hands Before Ruturning To Work."

Or as I saw it in a Chinese resaraunt one time:
"All Employees Must Wash Hands Before Ruturning To Wok." (the "R" had been scratched out.)

Thanks Keano. Did you know that or did you look it up somehow?

Cleaner version from Google images.

I just happened to know it, but there is a way to look up characters by drawing them.

Very cool. I actually found a site similar to that but was too artistically declined to draw something close enough to get the answer.

Me thinks this thread is the result of you getting caught without reading material.
